Ponmudi Hill Station
Ponmudi is a hill station situated at a height of 1000 m above the sea level is an extension of the Western Ghats and runs parallel to Arabian Sea. Favored with grand wonder and characteristic excellence, Ponmudi as a carpet of thick tropical forests that rolls down to the foot of the hill range.

Golden Valley: Golden Valley is a scenic spot in the vicinity known for its rich green valley, sparkling water and golden color sand settled along the banks of Kallar River. It serves as a best outing spot.
Meenmutty Falls: Meenmutty waterfalls is a pleasant spot explored by a large number of vacationers consistently. A remarkable feature of Meenmutty waterfalls is that the water drops from almost 1000 ft more than three stages, introducing a triple-decker effect. The fundamental attractions are waterfalls and the little natural pools and rocks situated adjacent to the route to the water fall.
Mini Zoo: A point of fascination for bird watchers, the Mini Zoo is more like a deer park and is one of the major attractions at Ponmudi.
Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve: Home to Kanikaran tribes (one of the most oldest surviving antiquated tribes on the globe), Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve, otherwise called Agasthyakoodam Biosphere Reserve, is known for its rich bio-diversity. The park is under thought for being chosen as a World Heritage Site by UNESC.
Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary: Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is situated outside the city of Ponmudi is spread over a zone of 53 sq km in the region of the Western Ghats. Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary was set up in the year 1938 and is well known for its dense forests that encompasses the locale. It is home to a huge assortment of flora and fauna.
