Kurisumala: Kurisumala is a religious place for Christians and is one of the significant attractions at vagamon. It is a spot where during holy week, many devotees from distant places, neighborhood and locales join and climb the slope with the help of wooden crosses. On Good Friday, the spot gets overloaded with public.
Mundakayam Ghat: Mundakayam Ghat is one of the low lying regions in the state, perfect for bird viewing. The spot is renowned for the paragliding celebration, held by ASSTA (Adventure Sports and Sustainable Tourism Academy), Kerala.
Vagamon Meadows: Vagamon is prestigious for its rolling green meadows which can be reach by the mean of a short bypass from the main street. It has a lake in the midst of them. A few movies have also been shoot here.
Muruganmala: Murugan Mala is a hill that houses a rock carved temple devoted to Lord Murugan. Several enthusiasts visit the spot each year.
Thangal Hill: A major religious site close to Vagamon, Thangal Hill is renowned for the burial chamber of Sufi holy person, Sheik Fariduddin. Covered with grasslands, valleys and thick pine forests, the hill displays an exceptionally pleasant perspective of entire region.
