Guwahati Cherrapunjee Shillong Kaziranga National Park Packages - 24 Nights and 25 Days
Day 1: ARRIVAL GUWAHATI
Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will be taken to visit Guwahati visiting the famous Basistha Ashram, ISKCON Guwahati, Regional Science Center, Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra and Bhubaneswari Temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: GUWAHATI – CHERRAPUNJEE
After an early breakfast leave for Cherrapunjee. It is the wettest destination in the world and on your drive to Cherrapunjee; you will come across roaring waterfalls diving into unfathomable gorges. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Relax a while and then you will be taken to visit the famous Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai fall, Mawsmai Cave. Later evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: CHERRAPONJEE – KREM MAWMLUH CAVE – CHERRAPUNEE
After an early breakfast, drive to Krem Mawmluh Cave, located at a distance of around half a kilometre to west of Cherrapunjee, is one of the prominent tourist attractions of the destination. In the entire Indian sub-continent this Cave is considered as a fourth longest cave with a height of 4,503 m. The entry to this Cave is located at a height of 10 ft above sea level. In addition, there is a pool inside the cave, which is formed as a result of five different rivers finding their way inside the cave. Later in the evening drive back to Cherrapunjee. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: CHERRAPUNJEE
Today after an early breakfast we will go on a guided trek to visit the Double Decker living Routes Bridge, the most brilliant of all the living bridges found in the world. The scenery of the places is beyond description. Your will get amazed of walking over the roots which will quite scary at the start but once u start u will end it with great zeal. Later return back to resort and enjoy the peaceful evening to get ride from tiredness. Overnight stay hotel.
Day 5: CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
After breakfast drive to Shillong, the ‘Scotland of the East”. En-route encounter Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 6: SHILLONG
Early morning, after breakfast take a sightseeing tour of the Scotland of East India i.e. Shillong. Here in Shillong you will visit Mawlynong, Mawsmai cave, Mawlynong village, zoological Museum, Arunachal state museum, Shillong peak and Elephant Falls. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, check out from the hotel and proceed toward Kaziranga National Park. On arrival, check in at Lodge/Resort. Afternoon visit the tribal villages or the tea gardens. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 8: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today morning you will enjoy the elephant ride followed by an excursion to the Western range of the park. Afternoon visit the Eastern range for birding. Dinner and overnight at the Resort.
Day 9: KAZIRANGA – KOHIMA – TOUPHEMA
After an early breakfast drive to kohima. On arrival proceed to Touphema Village Resort run by Angami Naga village community. Enjoy cultural presentation by village folks. Stay overnight at Touphema Tourist village.
Day 10: TOUPHEMA – KOHIMA – KEPFIIZHA
Spent your morning in exploring the village. After breakfast check out of the village resort & drive back to Kohima. Later you will be taken to visit the WW II Cemetery, nestled in the heart of Kohima town. Also visit State Museum, located at Bayani hill Kohima.After then proceed to Kepfiizha (Kigwema village) Dimori Cove Guest house after lunch. This small but beautiful place is on the Kohima Imphal Highway, which we use as base for trekking up the Japfu Peak (3048 metre Mt) Japfu. Stay overnight at Dimori Cove.
Day 11: KEPFIIZHA – DZIIKUO VALLEY
Morning drive to Dziikou valley via Jakhama village. This valley is a place of Solace and Tranquility and provides the right atmosphere for all Eco Adventures, Nature lovers, Trekkers. Bamboo brush, a tough dwarf bamboo predominates the vegetation and it gives an appearance of a fully mown lawn from afar. Overnight in the rest house/rock caves or tents.
Day 12: DZIIKUO VALLEY – KEPFIIZHA – KOHIMA
Morning Explore Dzikou valley. The call of Dziikou is irresistible for trekkers. This is the best trekking spot in the NE Region. Post Lunch return to Dimori Cove and proceed to Kohima. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kohima.
Day 13: KOHIMA – JORHAT
Early in the morning, we will drive to Jorhat, the tea-capital of Assam. On arrival at Jorhat, check-in at hotel. After lunch and rest, take a walk in a nearby village to see the simplicity of their lives. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: JORHAT – DIRANG
Early morning departure with packed breakfast. Drive through the picturesque tea gardens of Tezpur to reach Bhalukpung, on the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. After entry formalities and lunch we enter Arunachal, boundry of unending natural beauty. Driving through curly roads overlooking the dancing ‘Bhoroli’ river you arrive at Tipi, where lies the Orchidarium, a glass house having 7500 orchids. We drive on to Dirang (130km). On reaching Dirang check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 15: DIRANG – SELA PASS
Early morning, we will visit the upper and the lower ‘Gompa’ (Buddhist Monastery) at Bomdilla. After a leisurely breakfast we depart for Sela Pass (13703 ft). You drive onto centuries old Dirang Basti a ‘Dirang Monpa’ tribal village, still retaining its old stone made houses and its colorful inhabitants with warmth in their hearts. Dirang town overlooking the fast flowing Dirang river. Camp at Sela passes.
Day 16: SELA PASS – CHABRILLA
Today after breakfast we will trek towards Chabrilla. On arrival, set up your tent. Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 17: CHABRILLA – NURARANG – TAWANG
After an early breakfast, we start trekking for Nurarang. Arrive at Nurarang High altitude Trout Fish Farm. From Nurarang, drive to Tawang; the blessed land of Monpas. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 18: TAWANG
After breakfast, visit 350years old Buddhist monastery, locally known as Gompa, which seemed to be suspended from heaven in an equally ethereal space. Also visit the nunneries locally called Ani Gompa and Urgelling Monastery. It is also the birthplace of His holiness 6th Dalai Lama. In the evening enjoy ethnic Monpa tribal dances and dances by Lamas. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 19: TAWANG – DIRANG
Early morning drive to Jang to encounter the waterfalls, a breathtaking sight. Move onto Dirang, another heart pulling place with scenic beauty, en-route stopping at Sela Top (13000 ft). On arrival,check into hotel. Dinner and Night Stay.
Day 20: DIRANG
Early morning, we start trekking towards Sangti Valley. Overnight in Camp.
Day 21: DIRANG
Trek to the valley to have looked at the Rare Black Necked Cranes Wintering at Sangti. Return to Dirang Resort for some much needed refreshment. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 22: DIRANG – BHALUKPUNG
Early morning drive onto Bhalukpung. After lunch we raft down Via Bhoreli River to Nameri national Park. On arrival, check into the Nameri eco camp. Dinner and Overnight at Camp.
Day 23: NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, after breakfast we will go for a small rafting adventure on the Bhoroli River. In the evening we will go for a nature walk and bird watching and will see the many species of birds and animals. Dinner and Overnight at camp.
Day 24: BHALUKPUNG – TEZPUR
After an early breakfast check out from the Nameri Eco Camp and drive to Tezpur. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or you can opt. to visit Temple Durga Mandir, Chitralekha Udyan, Dakhina Kali Temple etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 25: DEPARTURE
Early morning, have you breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
