Day 01: ARRIVAL/DELHI DRIVE TO SAMODE (200 KMS/5 HRS)

After morning arrival, Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. Our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you. You will start our Heritage Tour and proceed to Samode. Upon arrival Check-in into the Hotel. Samode is located at a distance of 50 km to the northwest of Jaipur in the state of the royals—Rajasthan. It is nestled among the rugged hills of the Aravallis that invariably add to its beauty and make it an ideal place for spending vacations whether with the family or with friends.

Day 02: SAMODE/JAIPUR/SAMODE (50 KMS/1 HR)

After the breakfast proceed for Jaipur sightseeing. Upon arrival in Jaipur proceed to see the Pink City start with the enjoyment of taking an Elephant Ride at Amber Fort, then visit Jaigarh Fort, City Palace, Observatory, Palace of Winds. There are some items for which Jaipur is famous i.e. Blue Pottery, Precious and Semi-Precious Stones, silver jewelry, carpets, etc. After visiting the beautiful city drive back to Samode.

Day 03: SAMODE/KISHANGARH (150 KMS/2 HRS)

After breakfast, you will proceed our journey to Kishangarh. The city of Kishangarh is located about 30 kilometers from Ajmer in the state Rajasthan. The city was founded in 1611 AD by Kishan Singh, a prince of Jodhpur. This Palace was once the residence of the former Princes of Rajasthan and has now been converted into a heritage hotel.

Day 04: KISHANGARH/CHANDELAO (200 KMS/5-6 HRS)

After breakfast, we will drive to Chandelao. Chandelao village is situated just 40 kms from Jodhpur city on the edge of the Thar. After breakfast, you will drive to Chandelao. Still the home of descendents of Rao Kumpa, who fought against Sher Shah Suri, the Afghan ruler of Delhi. Chandelao Garh was built by his grandson Rao Puranmal who had annexed Sirohi for the Maharaja of Jodhpur. Upon Check-in into the hotel. You will go to watch village life. Rest of the day for our leisure activities.

Day 05: CHANDELAO

After Breakfast you will go to explore Chandelao Village. Chandelao Village is a typical Rajasthani village where you will find Bishnois, Raikas and other communities. You will see the local craftsmen at work, the potter, the blacksmith, the goldsmith and the weaver. The village has three beautiful lakes where you will find demosille cranes, sarus and other water birds. You can also visit a medieval step well where village women in their traditional attire come to fetch water.

Day 06: CHANDELAO/NARLAI: (200 KMS /6 HRS)

After breakfast drive to Narlai enroute visit Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. In olden days this must have been impregnable since its rocky base is scraped straight down making it nearly impossible to ascend. Once inside, royal palaces abound with fascinating history and priceless jewels, on to the armoury and Jaswant Tara – the Royal Crematorium. After that you will continue your drive to Rawla Narlai, now a heritage hotel, is located in the heart of a typical Rajasthan village bustling with activity and bursting with color.

Day 07: NARLAI/RANAKPUR/KUMBALGARH/NARLAI

After breakfast you will drive to visit Ranakpur Jain Temple. The Ranakpur Jain Temple was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The basement is of 48, 000 sq. feet area that covers the whole complex. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. The total number of columns is 1,444 all of which are intricately carved with no two being alike. Drive back to Narlai and enjoy Jeep Safari into nearby Forests where Deer, Leopards and Chitals can be spotted. Evenings are dotted with a traditional dance performances and cuisine served here is typically Rajasthani. A trek on the hill hugging the Rawla is also possible.

Day 08: NARLAI/DUNGARPUR (300 KMS/7 HRS)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will proceed our journey to Dungarpur. Dungarpur district is the stronghold of the Bheels, a tribe whose history of occupancy in the Aravalli range is said to date back to 4000 B.C. Founded in 1197.

Day 09: DUNGARPUR

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to explore the city. Visit the Juna Mahal, the seven storey palace, Juna Mahal was built in stages between 13th and 18th centuries. It is filled with many old frescoes and paintings. The Aam Khas, or main living room, has impressive mirror work and glass inlays. The former royal hunting lodge, on a nearby hilltop, has sensational views over the town and its many temples.

Day 10: DUNGARPUR/BIJAIPUR (300 KMS/6 HRS)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will proceed your journey to Bijaipur. Bijapur is a tiny village in Rajasthan and is an interesting place to tour during your vacations. Bijaipur is located at a little distance from Chittaurgarh, Rajasthan in North India. This tiny village is popular for a castle that was constructed by Raja Shakti Singh. The Bijaipur castle that is located in the Bijaipur village is an important tourist destination. This castle has now been converted into a heritage hotel. You can spend your holidays in peace and leisure at this rustic village and experience the quiet and slow lifestyle of the local people who still follow ancient customs and ways.

Day 11: BIJAIPUR/BUNDI (150 KMS/2 HRS)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will proceed our journey to Bundi. In the year 1193 when Prithviraj Chauhan lost out to Mohammad Ghori, numerous Chauhan nobles fled to Mewar to seek a safe refuge. However, there were still others who were not intimidated and hence moved towards newer destination in the Chambal valley. There they subdued the Meena and Bheel tribes and established their own supremacy in the kingdom of Hadoti. The state lost its earlier prestige with the rise of Kota, though it continued as an independent state within the British rule. Later, when India gained independence, Bundi was incorporated into the state of Rajasthan. The name Bundi is derived from the name of a former ruler.

Day 12: BUNDI

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to explore the city. Visit Taragarh Fort, Bundi Palace, Sukh Mahal.

Day 13: BUNDI/BHANDAREJ (275 KMS/7 HRS)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will proceed our journey to Bhandarej. The north Indian state of Rajasthan is strewn with palaces and forts that reflect the tales of greatness of the Rajput rulers of yesteryears. If one wants to witness one such tale of valor then come visit the town of Bhandarej, 62 kilometers from the state capital of Jaipur. While at this small town, the guests will be amazed with the architecture of the various temples and monuments that date back to the pre-medieval period.

Day 14: BHANDAREJ/AGRA: (200 KMS/4 HRS)

After breakfast, you will drive to Agra. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 15: AGRA

You are about to witness one of the greatest sights of one’s lifetime – the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Before departure for the monument we shall be served tea/coffee and cookies so that our eyes open real wide to behold this breathtaking sight. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colours of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. After breakfast, you will drive to explore the city of Taj and visit Agra Fort.

Day 16: AGRA/ORCHAA: (250 KMS/5-6 HRS)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will proceed our journey to Orchha. Orchha today is a sleepy little hamlet but it was once the capital city of the mighty BundelKhand Empire.

Day 17: ORCHHA

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to explore the city visiting Jahangir Mahal and beautiful temples.

Day 18: ORCHAA/KHAJURAHO: (150 KMS/3 HRS)

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After that you will proceed on a tour of the world famous western group of temples depicting erotic sculptures of love making images of Gods and Goddesses and celestial Nymphs. The sexual fantasies displayed in the sculptures are mind-boggling.

Day 19: KHAJURAHO/FLY TO VARANASI:

Meeting and assistance upon arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Varanasi is one of the most important pilgrimage in India and also a major tourist attraction. Situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges, Varanasi has been a center of learning and civilization for over 2000 years. 25 centuries ago Lord Buddha preached his message of enlightment for the first time in Sarnath which is just 10kms away from Varanasi. Evening, we drive to the Ghats and enjoy the boat ride in river Ganges.

Day 20: VARANASI

Early morning, we drive to the Ghats and enjoy the boat ride in river Ganges. Life in the city of Varanasi revolves around its over one hundred Ghats (river landings). The River Ganga flows from north to south, and the city forms a circular shape from the Asi ghat in the south up to the confluence of the Varuna River with the Ganga. Afternoon, take a short trip to the Buddhist city of Sarnath .It is here that the Buddha preached his first sermons after attaining enlightenment.

Day 21: VARANASI/FLY TO AMRITSAR VIA DELHI

Meeting and assistance upon arrival. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 22: AMRITSAR

Meeting and assistance upon arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Located in the North West region of India, the most striking feature about Amritsar is its antiquity. In Hindi the word Amritsar means ‘a Holy pool of nectar’ and it was back in the year 1573 that work for digging the Holy pool had begun. One of the ancient cities of India, the most important fact about Amritsar is that it is the main seat of Sikh history and culture. The city itself was founded by the Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, and till present times it is the spiritual and temporal center of Sikh culture with the Golden Temple in Amritsar as its nucleus. Main attractions to visit Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, Wagah Border Ceremony, etc. Transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Delhi.

Day 23: DEPARTURE

Upon arrival transfer to the international airport of Delhi. At the time of departure appropriate, generally 3 hours before your flight iniciareis towards the international airport in Delhi to take the flight back home.
