Namdapha & Dibru Saikhowa National Park - 15 Nights and 16 Days
Day 1: ARRIVAL KOLKATA:
Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will be taken to visit Park street, Howrah Bridge, Kalighat, Victoria Memorial etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: KOLKATA
Early morning, have your breakfast and then you will be taken to visit Local sightseeing of Kolkata like Aquatica, Science city, Sundarbans National Park, Victoria Art Palace, Kumartuli, Maddox Square ans Swaminarayan Temple. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: KOLKATA – DIBRUGARH
In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, guests will be transferred to Kolkata Airport to board flight to Dibrugarh. Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representative will escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will taken to visit Jakai Reserve Forest and enjoying the rich flora and fauna of this area. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: DIBRUGARH – MIAO – DEBAN, NAMDAPHA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel and then we will proceed to Miao. On arrival, we enter into the park and seize the opportunity to visit the small ‘wildlife’ museum. After then we proceed towards Deban, On arrival check in at Forest Rent House or the Tented camps. Overnight at camp.
Day 5: DEBAN – HALDIBARI
Early morning, we start trekking toward our next destination i.e. Haldibar. Halibari is at a height of 300m and to reach there we will first cross the Neo Dhing River and after then Climb for about 300m, to reach Haldibari. On the way you will get amazed by hearing the calls of birds. Overnight in tented accommodation.
Day 6: HALDIBARI – HORNBILL GLADE
Early morning, after breakfast again start trekking to Hornbill Glade. On the way you will the cobwebs of canes, bamboos, wild bananas and variety of vegetations The grandeur of the wet tropical rain forest is breeding ground for varieties of animals and birds which is remarkable and worth seeing. Overnight at camp.
Day 7: HORNBILL GLADE – BULBULIA – RANIJHEEL – BULBULIA
Early morning, after breakfast again start trekking toward Bulbulia. On the way there will be thick vegetation. Bulbulia is an enchanting camping site overlooking a large aquifer and derives its name from its several natural springs. You need to be extremely lucky for an opportunity to stay here overnight and exprience close encounters with wild animals frequenting the water holes in the dark. From Bulbulia, we trek to Ranijheel. After a whil you will enter a thick and long bamboo patch. Be careful of the wild elephants. Overnight at camp.
Day 8: BULBULIA – DEBAN
Early morning, we will trek back to Deban by crossing the Namdapha River. This camping site, as the name suggests offers a vantage point for a breath-taking view of Namdapha and its lush green landscape. Overnight in camp at Deban.
Day 9: NAMDAPHA NATIONAL PARK – DIBRU SAIKHOWA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Early morning, after breakfast drive to Dibru Saikhowa Wildlife Sanctuary, the sanctuary is home to globally threatened species such as White-winged Wood Duck, White-bellied Heron, Lesser Adjutant, Pallas’s Fish Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Jerdon’s Babbler, Black-breasted Parrotbill and Striated Grassbird. On arrival, check in at your hotel. It is home to some restricted-range species, such as the Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia and Yellow Weaver. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10: DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, after breakfast we take a motorized boat sailing upstream to get to one of the many islands that form the park. Keep an eye out for the river dolphins that pop out of the water from time to time. We return to our base and this time sail downstream to another island. In the afternoon walk short distance to a ‘beel’ or marshy water body and jump on to small canoes rowed by village lads – going slowly across these marshes you can spot numerous ducks, swamp hens, storks, egrets, herons. As the marshes are close to villages you can see fishing nets on the edges and experience village life too if you desire to explore it. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11: DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Kaziranga National Park. On arrival, check in at lodge. Rest of the day is free for leisure or you can opt. to explore the beauty of the surroundings. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 12: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today morning you will enjoy the nature Trek around the Reserve Forest to look for the rare Hollock Gibbon or search for the hornbills. Afternoon visit the tribal villages or the tea gardens. Overnight at the resort.
Day 13: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today morning you will enjoy the elephant ride followed by an excursion to the Western range of the park. Afternoon visit the Eastern range for birding. Dinner and overnight at the Resort.
Day 14: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI – DELHI
In the morning after breakfast check out from the resort and drive towards Guhwahti airport to catch the flight for Delhi, Upon arrival at Delhi, meet and assitance wiht our representative and transfer towards the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: DELHI
Early morning, after breakfast you will be taken to visit Heritage Sites of Delhi visiting the famous Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and its monuments and also The Red Fort. You can also opt to see light and sound show at Red Fort in evening. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 16: DEPARTURE
Early morning, have you breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
