On the western coastline of India, until modern times, Gujarat barely highlighted on the visitor map. 1. Sun Temple, Modhera
The peaceful town of Modhera houses one of many sun temples in India. Built-in the 11 century by Solanki dynasty rulers, it's focused on Sury. The Krishna Janmashtami festival a significant event there. Of special importance are Dwarkadhish Temple, built around 200 BC, and Jagat Mandir.
