About The Property
The Baradari Palace is a 17 well furnished rooms, white, colonnaded building, centered on a rectangular Sikh-Mughal-style, It was designed by Kaur Sahib Ranbir Singh, the younger brother of the Maharaja in 1876. This palace was once Asia’s largest residence, where lived the royal family of Patiala. The palace also houses Shahi Mehmandari (the state guest house), Punjab state archives, and Punjabi University.
