About The Property
Kandath Tharavad Homestay is a more than 200 years old ancestral home of the Kandath family built essentially of mud and teak. The house was built in 1794 by Bhagwaldas’ Great Grandfather, Mr. Kuppavelan, a landowner and cash – moneylender. It is located on the edges of rice paddy fields in provincial Kerala and is a jewel in terms of its architecture. It has just four tastefullt designed guest rooms.
