About The Property
The Lalitha Mahal Palace is a fantasy like royal palace built in 1931 by the Maharaja of Mysore for the reception of the Viceroy of India. The royal residence has 54 stately suites and rooms exquisitely painted in white color. Later in 1974, it was converted into a heritage hotel. At present, this legacy property is running as a first class hotel of the Ashok Group of the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and kept up under the Government of India.
