Haflong, aditionally referred as a ‘Land of Blue Hills’ is a scenic hill station situated at a height of 680 m from the ocean level. Known for lush greenery all around and more than 2,00,000 assortments of blooms and an extensive variety of unique orchids, rivers, and rare species of winged animals, pineapples, oranges and pera. Haflong Lake: Haflong Lake, is a vast and excellent lake, otherwise called the ‘Scotland of Assam’, is one of the biggest natural water bodies in Assam. The lake is likewise a decent spot for different recreation exercises and is popular hangout.
Haflong Hill: Haflong Hill is one of the major attractions of Haflong town. It is mainstream for trekking and hiking. The whole perspective of encompassing zone on the slope is stunningly lovely.
Haflong Museum: This is a museum which stores old stones and sculptures which have been used in the past. There are ruins also that are preserved here. These ruins belong to the past history of the city.
Maibong: Maibong is a small region situated on the bank of Mahur. The remainders of the kingdom can at present be seen on the eastern bank of Mahur and toward the south of Maibong. Aside from the remnants, Maibong is well known for the twelfth century solid Ramchandi Temple.
Umrongso: Umrongso is a the greatest hydro electric plant found 112 km far from Haflong, under North East Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO). It is situated with the Dams on the River Kopili. A well known hot water spring or Garampani can also be spotted here. It is trusted that the water of this spring has some therapeutic qualities.
