Pangong Tso: Pangong Tso also referred as Pangong Lake is 134 km long endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m and extends from India to Tibet.

Zanskar Valley: Zanskar is known for its great scale. The tributaries of the Zanskar River are well known for seasonal white water rafting. The Zanskar mountain range covers a zone of 7000 sq. kms and is undoubtedly, a standout amongst the most desolate spots in the Himalayan range.

Shanti Stupa: Built by a Japanese Buddhist monk Gomyo Nakamura, Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white domed stupa enshrined by the fourteenth Dalai Lama himself. The stupa is thought to be a noteworthy vacation spot in Leh and gives an all encompassing perspective of the encompassing regions during dawn and dusk.

Nubra Valley: Situated in north of Leh, Nubra Valley otherwise called Ldumra (the valley of flowers).  The fundamental fascination here is the Bactrian Camels around sand dunes of Hunder. The Khardung La Pass at 18,380 feet, is the most elevated motorable street on the planet, and a passage to the Nubra Valley.

Leh Palace: Built in 1553 AD on a hilltop, Leh Palace is a 19 storey high building that still looks imposing from the town and was one of the tallest structures on the planet amid that time. The palace also has a museum which holds a rich collection of gems, trimmings, ornamnets, stylized dresses and crowns. The artistic creations in the exhibition hall are over 450 years old Chinese thangka paintings.

Some other great places to visit in Leh are: Hemis Monastery, Namgyal Tsempo Monastery, Lamayuru monastery, Likir Monastery, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Shey Monastery, Khardung La, Diskit Gompa, Kargil, Magnetic Hill etc.
