I just returned from the most incredible adventure of culture, humanity & safaris. Tanuj Choudhary prepared my travel itinerary and it was filled with diversity and flexibility. When the Canadian Embassy advised for me to return back to Canada as soon as possible due to the pandemic Coronavirus, Tanuj promptly assisted me with all the internal flight and hotel arrangements. My driver, Nand was extremely polite & assisted in whatever I needed. His professionalism & expert driving skills was outstanding.I highly recommend Rajasthan Four Wheel Drive for the individualized and safe travel. Thank you for being an instrumental part of my journey. I am humbled and blessed to experience life in India.
Udaipur Nagda Temple Tour
The picturesque lake built by Maharana Udai Singh II after founded the city. Hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments, surround this lake.
This is the largest place complex in Rajasthan. A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenelated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, balconies, corridors, and rooms. The main entrance is through the triple-arched gate, the ‘Tripolia’ with eight marble porticos.
Saheliyon Ki Bari
This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and therefore the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks, and marble elephants.
Later you will be taken for lunch and afterwards, you will be taken for an excursion tour of Nagda.
Nagda is actually famous for this unusual temple that dates back to the 10th century. The term ‘Sas-Bahu’ suggests ‘Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law’ respectively. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it is made in two structures, one by a mother-in-law and another, by a daughter-in-law. The main entrance to the temples is made through a door that has carved lintels and a multi-lobed arch in its middle. Both the structures are laid out on the same plan having an altar, a mandapa (columned prayer hall) with projections and a porch.
Later in the evening return back to Udaipur.
"We do hope the flavour of India will remain on your taste buds for all times to come and hopefully would kindle an indelible fondness for the country and her people; Thank you for being our guest, and as we say in India 'Please Come back Soon"
I actually went to India in late 2018 and used the service from four wheel drive to visit several places in Rajasthan. My driver named Narwal gave my friend and me a very lovely service. The most impressive thing is that every restaurant he took us to, served the best food ever. I really enjoyed that trip and have been thinking of it lately. Anil also coordinated the service for us very well. I hope things will get better from the pandamic soon and hope to visit India again. I also hope that Anil and Narwal are doing well.
