Pichola Lake

The picturesque lake built by Maharana Udai Singh II after they founded the city. Hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments, surround this lake.

City Palace

This is the largest place complex in Rajasthan. A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, balconies, corridors, and rooms. The main entrance is through the triple-arched gate, the ‘Tripolia’ with eight marble porticos.

Crystal Gallery

Fateh Prakash Palace next door, houses a whimsical side of Udaipur royalty. Check out the fabulous crystal collection of Raja Sajjan Singh. In 1877 the raja ordered a lavish collection of crystal items from abroad. Before it reached him he died and everything was put into storage and later set up on display for tourism purposes. A little further away is the Gallery of Vintage and Classic Cars. Amongst the showpieces is a Rolls Royce Phantom II of 1934 vintage.

Saheliyon Ki Bari

This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and therefore the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiseled kiosks, and marble elephants.

Sajjan Garh

This is called a Mansoon Palace. Maharana Sajjan Singh built it in the late 19th century. The palace is illuminated at night and from a distance looks like something out of a fairy tale. It also offers a panoramic overview of the city’s lakes, palaces, and the surrounding countryside. In the evening, you can enjoy the boat ride in Pichola or Fateh Safar Lake.

Rajasthan Four Wheel Drive Journey of India

I just returned from the most incredible adventure of culture, humanity & safaris. Tanuj Choudhary prepared my travel itinerary and it was filled with diversity and flexibility. When the Canadian Embassy advised for me to return back to Canada as soon as possible due to the pandemic Coronavirus, Tanuj promptly assisted me with all the internal flight and hotel arrangements. My driver, Nand was extremely polite & assisted in whatever I needed. His professionalism & expert driving skills was outstanding.I highly recommend Rajasthan Four Wheel Drive for the individualized and safe travel. Thank you for being an instrumental part of my journey. I am humbled and blessed to experience life in India.

Great Service

I actually went to India in late 2018 and used the service from four wheel drive to visit several places in Rajasthan. My driver named Narwal gave my friend and me a very lovely service. The most impressive thing is that every restaurant he took us to, served the best food ever. I really enjoyed that trip and have been thinking of it lately. Anil also coordinated the service for us very well. I hope things will get better from the pandamic soon and hope to visit India again. I also hope that Anil and Narwal are doing well.
