Bangalore Madikeri Hospet Badami Goa – 14 Nights and 15 Days
Day 1: ARRIVAL BANGALORE
Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will be taken for sightseeing tour of Bangalore visiting the Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain, Miracla Centre Church, Manchinbele Dam Surayanarayana Temple, Art of Living International Centre.
Day 2: BANGALORE – SRIRANGAPATNA – MYSORE
After an early breakfast begin driving towards Mysore. On the way, visit Srirangapatna- the capital of Tipu Sultan to explore its popular attractions including the Srirangapatna Fort, Dariya Daulat Bagh etc. On reaching Mysore, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- interacting with the locals, exploring the surroundings on foot etc. Stay overnight.
Day 3: MYSORE
Early morning after breakfast you will be taken for Sightseeing tour of the city including The Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Mysore Lake, Zoo, St. Philomena’s Church and many more highlights of this ancient city in covered in this trip. Overnight Stay at the Hotel in Mysore.
Day 4: MYSORE – MADIKERI
Early morning after breakfast, hit the road to Madikeri, also known as Mercara, a beautiful hill town of Karnataka. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Later, get ready for visiting Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls (Abbi falls or Abbe falls) and Nisargadhama. Overnight stay.
Day 5: MADIKERI – HASSAN
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Hassan. On arrival, check into the hotel. Relax a while and then you will be taken to Belur and Halebid to visit magnificently carved temples. Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: HASSAN – SRAVANABELOGOLA – HASSAN
After an early breakfast, drive to Sravanabelogola, pilgrim center and shrine of the Jains. Later in the evening back to hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: HASSAN – HOSPET
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Hospet. Enroute we will stop at Chitradurga to visit Kallina Kote Fort (Palace of Stone). On arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 8: HOSPET – HAMPI – HOSPET
Early morning after breakfast we will drive to Hampi. The main importance of Hospet lies in its proximity to Hampi, a world Heritage site. Hampi is the village close to the ruins of Vijayanagar. Main sites to visit are Hampi Bazaar, Virupaksha Temple, Hemakuta Hill, Vittala Temple, Sule Bazaar and the Achyutaraya Temple. Further on is the Royal Centre, housing the Lotus Mahal palace which was the centre of the Zenana (women’s quarters) and the elephant stables. The other major attraction near Hospet is the Tungabhadra Dam built on the Tungabhadra River. Just around the dam is a very beautiful garden developed in Japanese style. Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: HOSPET – PATTADAKAL – AIHOLE – BADAMI
In the morning, after breakfast, begin driving to Badami, formerly known as Vatapi that was once a royal capital of the Chalukyas. On the way, halt at Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole is a beautiful temple complex constructed by the rulers of Chalukya Dynasty. Pattadakal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with around 10 temples that are a mix of Indian architectural styles. On arrival at Badami, check-in your hotel. The rest of the day is free- explore the surroundings on foot or simply relax. Stay overnight.
Day 10: BADAMI
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to visit Badami Caves, North Fort, Banashankari. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11: BADAMI – BELGAUM – GOA
Today, post breakfast, begin driving towards Goa. En-route visit Belgaum. It features some great tourist attractions, such as Kamal Basati- a Jain temple located within Belgaum Fort, Jama Masjid – a beautiful mosque, The Kapileshwar Temple – consisting of Shiv Murt, Ganesha Temple, Guru Datt Mandir, Shri Sai Mandir as well as Navagraha temple. The last visit here is to the Ananthashayana temple – erected by King Krishnadeva Raya of the Vijayanagara Empire. On arriving in Goa, complete the check-in formalities to your pre-booked hotel. If time and energy permit, you can take a leisure walk at the beach or shop at the flea markets. You can also visit the beach shacks or popular nightclubs to get a feel of the rocking nightlife of Goa. Stay overnight.
Day 12: GOA
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to visit the Shree Manguesh Temple, Shree Mahalsa Temple, The Basilica of Bom Jesus, a 16th century church and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here onwards, we will move towards the Se Cathedral in Old Goa. Before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay, we will visit the Church of St. Francis of Assissi, the only church in the East in Manueline style. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 13: GOA
After having breakfast in the hotel, we will take you towards the Cortalim Jetty of Old Goa. The boat will take you to a Mugger (Indian crocodile) tour. Sail to the local habitats of Muggers in the Cumbharjua Canal. Upon completion of the Mugger tour, you will be taken for a spice plantation tour. After lunch, get ready for the jovial Elephant Ride and wash. While sitting on elephant back, the jumbos will shower water on you, which will make this tour, one of the memorable tours of your life. Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14: GOA
Spent half of your day at leisure and then a 6 hours night tour will be arranged to cater the best of Goa nightlife. Our cruise will take you to the heart of Dona Paula Bay, where you can aback the sails towards Adil Shah Palace, one of the pioneer buildings of Panjim. Heading further, you can visit Mae de Deus Church of Aligao and get some spectacular views of the Panaji city from Altinho hill. Back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: DEPARTURE
Early morning, have you breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
