Bhimashankar Trek – 6 Nights and 7 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Upon arrival, you will be heartily welcomed by our representatives and then our chauffeur will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Check into the hotel upon reaching and take some rest. After refreshments, take a visit to Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya.

In the evening, go for a long walk along Chowpatty Beach. Overnight at Hotel in Mumbai.

Day 2: Mumbai

After a morning scrumptious Breakfast at the hotel, ride to visit ISKCON Temple, Haji Ali Mosque, Hanging Gardens, Dhobi Ghat, Mani Bhavan, and Marine Drive.

And then end your day with a visit to Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Overnight at Hotel in Mumbai.

Day 3: Drive to Lonavala

After an early morning sumptuous Breakfast, check out from the Hotel and leave for Shimla. On the route, take a drive to visit Pinjore Gardens. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and Relax. After a while, head out to visit Christ Church, Vice Regal Lodge, and the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies.

Day 4: Drive to Khandas via Kajrat

In the morning after a lavish Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Khandas via Kajrat. The village of Khandas is the base point of the Bhimashankar trek. Upon reaching, check into the village guest house and spend the rest of your day at leisure as the very next day we start for Bhimashankar Trek.

Day 5: Trek to Bhimashankar

Get ready for the most energized day as today we begin our trek to Bhimashankar (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of India). After an early breakfast at Khandas town, we leave for the day trek to Bhimashankar. There is a total of two routes to reach Bhimashakar. One goes through Sidhi Ghat while the other through Ganesh Ghat. Both Ganesh Ghat and Shidi are grand and challenging.

Route 1: The route which goes through Ganesh Ghat is long but less difficult than the Shidi route. Following an hour’s trek, you will arrive at Ganesh Temple furthermore the base of Padar Killa. Rest a while and after that trek further to Bhimashankar. In transit, you will discover an unending number of tea shops and little restaurants. Following a couple of hours into the Padar Killa route you will touch base at the level of Bhimashankar.

Route 2: The Shidi route is a bit more difficult route to reach the Ganesh Temple. To know more about this track, take a turn left from the fundamental bridge in Khandas village. The precarious regular staircase makes this trek shorter and additionally more unsafe (particularly amid storms). After a progression of such staircases, the Ganesh Ghat and Shidi routes combine. Endeavoring the Padar Killa trek after the Shidi route is not fitting for beginner trekkers.

Day 6: Trek to Khandas and Drive to Mumbai

After morning Breakfast, go for a visit to Nagfani Peak. And then, say goodbye to the Bhimashankar trek and trek back to Khandas by Ganesh Khinda. After lunch at Khandas, drive to Mumbai with lots of memories of the Bhimashankar Trek. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and get retire for the Night.

Day 7: Departure

Today, you will be assisted to transfer to Mumbai Airport to catch a flight to the next destination.
