Bhutan Women only Cultural and Festival Tour – 10 Nights and 11 Days

Day 1: ARRIVAL PARO

Upon landing, our delegate meets you and welcomes you. Check-in at the Inn once you reach there. After refreshments, the day is free for recreation.

Supper and overnight at the Inn.

Day 2: PARO – THIMPHU

This day after a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Thimphu. On the route, drive to visit the Tamchog Lhakang iron bridge. Check-in at the hotel upon reaching. Rest a while and then head on to visit Takin Sanctuary, Zilukha Nunnery, Buddha Dordenma Statue, and Thimphu Dzong. Spend the rest of the day leisurely.

Supper and Night remain at the hotel.

Day 3: THIMPHU

Early morning, after breakfast we’ll have an opportunity to visit the city’s Weekend market, loaded with a wide variety of goods for both local people and sightseers. Today we may likewise get an opportunity to see an archery tournament, which regularly occurs at the neighborhood archery grounds.

Supper and overnight at an inn.

Day 4: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA

In the morning after some wholesome breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed further to Punakaha. After settling down at the hotel, we ride you to Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang, and Khamsum Yueling.

Supper and  Night remain at the hotel.

Day 5: PUNAKHA – TRONGSA

After morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive further to Trongsa. On the way, we will take you to Wangdue. On reaching, check into your pre-booked room. Later, we will ride you to Chendebje Chorten, Trongsa Dzong Fortress, and Kuenga Rabten Palace. Enjoy the scenic view all around and get enchanted by the magnificent view of Mount Jomolhari.

Supper and Night stay.

Day 6: TRONGSA – BHUMTHANG VALLEY

After morning breakfast at leisure, check from the hotel and head further to Bumthang. Upon reaching, check into your hotel and relax. In the Afternoon, proceed to visit Jakar Dzong, Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, and Ura Yakchoe.

The evening is free to sit back at the hotel and enjoy leisurely time with your own independent activities.

Day 7: BUMTHANG (ON THE FESTIVAL DAY)

The day we spend visiting the great Jambay Lhakhang Festival which is the major attraction of the region. Here Artists, singers, and dancers entertain the general people with their appreciable talents. The festival is celebrated to get the victory of religion over the evil spirit. Craftsmen from all around the nation set up their stalls and sell the items like clothes, jewelry, Buddhist treasures, and many others.

Day 8: BHUMTHANG – URA – BHUMTHANG

This day, after breakfast the hotel heads out for a full-day excursion tour to Ura Valley. Enjoy the astounding view of Bhutan’s Highest Peak ‘Gangkar Puensum’ on the route. Today’s journey will lead us through lavish forest areas and also through the village which is popular for its traditional homes. Upon reaching, enjoy time leisurely exploring this beautiful valley of Ura. Later the day, return back to Bumthang. In the evening, after dinner, head on to see the end of the Treschu Festival and enjoy some sacred naked dance performances.

Day 9: BHUMTHANG – GANGTEY

Today, after taking breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed further to Gangtey. Check-in at the hotel upon reaching. After refreshments, we drive you to Gangtey Gompa and Black Craned Information Center.

Supper and Night halt at the hotel.

Day 10: GANGTEY –  PARO

This morning after a sumptuous breakfast, check out and drive to Paro. Upon reaching, check into your pre-booked hotel. We ride you to National Museum, Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Kichu Lhakhang, and Rinpung Dzong.

Evening time is for leisurely activities.

Supper and Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: DEPARTURE

Today, say bye to this Bhutan Women-only cultural and festival Tour and proceed towards Paro Airport to board a flight back to your home.
