Delhi Haridwar Barkot Uttarkashi – 13 Nights and 14 Days
Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI
Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at the hotel, and later you will be taken to visit the Heritage Sites of Delhi visiting the famous Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and its monuments, and also The Red Fort. You can also opt to see a light and sound show at Red Fort in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: DELHI – HARIDWAR
Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at Hotel. After then you are free to visit the local market of Haridwar. In the evening we will walk down to Harkipauri to see the beautiful “aarti”. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: HARIDWAR – BARKOT
Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Barkot. Barkot is a beautiful hill station which is located on the foot of Yamunotri. As you drive through Mussoorie, you can visit the famous Kempty Falls on your way. On arrival, check in to your hotel/camp. Relax for the rest of the day. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4: BARKOT– YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT
Early morning after breakfast at the hotel, depart for Yamunotri. On reaching Yamunotri, begin your first Pahad Yatra to Yamunotri which is a 6 Km trek. You have the option of hiring a palki or a horse for your trek. On your trek, you enjoy the sight of a lush green valley and a variety of species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri is one of the shrines of the Char Dhams. After Darshan, start your trek back to Yamunotri in the afternoon. Return back to Barkot. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI
Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Uttarkashi is well known for its historical monuments, Temples, and Ashrams. After taking some rest for the day, you can go for a stroll around the place. In the evening, attend the famous aarti at Vishwanath Temple. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI
Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gangotri. Gangotri is a popular Hindu pilgrimage town which is set on the banks of river Bhagirathi. After darshan at Gangotri, drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI
Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Get your medical checkup done for your next day’s journey to Kedarnath. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: GUPTKASHI – GAURIJUND – KEDARNATH
Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gaurikund. On arrival, begin with your trek to Kedarnath. Kedarnath is a well-known pilgrimage destination for the Hindus. To reach the temple, you can hire a palki or a horse. On arrival, check in at the Govt. Camps/Lodges. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 9: KEDARNATH – GAURIKUND – GUPTKASHI
This morning you get up before dawn and take a bath. Later, you go to the temple for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. After Darshan and Puja, check out from the Camps / Lodges. Start with your trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. At Sonprayag, your car awaits which will take you back to your hotel at Guptkashi. On arrival at Guptkashi, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: GUPTKASHI – JOSHIMATH – BADRINATH
Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. One of the four sacred Dhams in India. Overlooking the temple, at the back of the Alaknanda River, there is Tapt Kund, a hot water spring. We can also go for a visit to Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 11: BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH – RUDRAPRAYAG
This morning, visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you can leave for local sightseeing at Badrinath. Visit major attractions of Badrinath such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. In the afternoon, check out from the hotel and head towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. En-route visit Karanprayag. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure or to explore the beauty of Rudraprayag. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 12: RUDRAPRAYAG – RISHIKESH
Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh. On arrival, check—at the hotel. Later you will be taken to visit the nearby temples and the suspension bridge, Laksham jhula. In the evening we will walk down to Triveni Ghat by the Ganges River to witness the evening “aarti”. Dinner and Night stay at hotel.
Day 13: RISHIKESH – DELHI
Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival, check—in at the hotel. After this long journey, you are free to spend the rest of your day at leisure. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 14: DEPARTURE
Early morning, have your breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
