Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

After a late-evening arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi - Explore Delhi

After morning breakfast you will be taken to visit the famous Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Stay night at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Leh (By Air)

In time transfer to airport to board the flight for Leh, assistance on arrival transfer to hotel, Overnight in Leh.

Day 04: Leh - Lamayuru - Likir - Alchi - Explore Leh

The whole day is dedicated to the local sightseeing

Lamayuru - After exploring villages around the area, it comes as a surprise to find that Lamayuru is a scruffy little place. The Gompa is the completely overshadowed and most famous spectacular monastery in Ladakh.

Alchi and Likir Monasteries - These two monasteries are located near Saspol on the Srinagar-Leh road. They house many gigantic clay statues of Buddha in various forms. Evening free to relax, overnight in Alchi.

Day 05: Alchi - Rizong - Spituk - Leh (7 Hours Drive)

After the night stay at the Alchi, on the way back, the tourists are visiting the few more Gompas.

Rizong: About six km along a steepish, rocky track from the main road is the start of the area with the nunnery of Julochen and the Gompa of Rizong.

Spituk Monastery: Just before Leh on the Srinagar-Leh road on the hilltop overlooking the Indus, the Spituk monastery boasts not only of some prized tankha, but also a chamber with an enormous statue of Kali. It is 10 km from Leh and houses of 135 yellow-capped monks. Overnight in Leh.

Day 06: Leh - Explore Leh

The whole day is dedicated to shopping and to discover some interesting things about Ladakhi art and culture by visiting the Tibetan refugees camp Choklamsar, Library, and Ecological Development, etc. Overnight in Leh.

Day 07: Leh - Explore Leh

Local Sightseeing, Leh Bazaar, Leh Palace and Sankar Gompa, The women’s vegetable market in the afternoon and some interesting places to visit. And the evening the Sankar monastery.

Leh Gompa - It is situated above the Leh Palace and was built in 1430. It contains a 13.7 meters high statue of the Buddha.

Sankar Gompa - Just 3 km from Leh is this monastery that has a formidable collection of the miniature of pure gold and a number of exciting paintings.  Overnight in Leh.

Day 08: Leh - Khardungla Pass - Leh

The morning takes an excursion tour to Khardung-la. It takes you to the highest motorable road of in the world KhardungLa (18,380 feet or 5,578 m). Visit Nubra Valley, the valley has several Buddhists monasteries such as Sumor, Tiger and  Diskit monastery. Later drive back to Leh for overnight.

Day 09: Leh - Delhi

Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Assistance on arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel, time free for last-minute souvenir shopping and transfer to International airport to board the flight back home.
