North Button, Saddle Peak, Mahatma Gandhi, Marine National Park- 13 Nights and 14 Days
Day 1: ARRIVAL Delhi
Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel and later you will be taken to visit Heritage Sites of Delhi visiting the famous Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and its monuments and also The Red Fort. You can also opt to see light and sound show at Red Fort in evening. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: DELHI – PORTBLAIR – LONG ISLAND
After an early breakfast transfer to the airport to board flight for Portblair. On arrival you will be received and transferred to the Long Island on ferry/boat. On arrival, check into the resort. Rest of the day is free to do your own activities. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 3: NORTH BUTTON NATIONAL PARK
Today you will be taken to explore the North Button National Park by boat. The major attraction of the park is the species like Dolphins and Dugong water monitor lizard (namely Iguana). In this area some adventure lovers also perform scuba diving and by doing this they can view the real living pattern of various species of the sea. From small Jelly fish to Cerulean Whale, all can be viewed by scuba divers. Back to Long Island by boat. Dinner and Night stay at resort.
Day 4: LONG ISLAND – BARREN ISLAND – LONG ISLAND
Today we will head toward Barren Island; only active volcano in India. The island can be visited by chartering boats/seaplane and with the permission of Forest Department. Foreign nationals are restricted to be onboard the vessel only and landing ashore is not allowed. Later we will return back to Long Island. Dinner and Night Stay at resort.
Day 5: LONG ISLAND – PORTBLAIR
After an early breakfast, check out from the resort and transferred to Portblair on ferry/boat. On arrival, check in at resort. Rest of the day is free to do your own activities. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 6: PORTBLAIR – DIGLIPUR
Early morning have a nice breakfast and start your day on the beautiful Diglipur North Andaman. On arrival, check into the resort/hotel. You can spend a whole day here. Dinner and overnight at resort/hotel.
Day 7: DIGLIPUR – ROSS AND SMITH ISLAND – DIGLIPUR
Today we will go to spend our day on Ross and Smith Island. Ross and Smith Islands are famous for its white sand bar separating two islands. To get into the Island we have hire a fiber boat. Smith Island largely covered with dense tropical forest and offers a nature trail as well. Overnight stay is not allowed here at Ross and Smith Island and thus we will head back to Diglipur. Dinner and overnight at Resort/Hotel.
Day 8: SADDLE PEAK NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast we will head toward Lamia bay and then take permission from the forest department to get into the Saddle Peak National Park. Hiking the trail to Saddle peak is the best trekking experience of Andaman Islands. Open and closed canopies created by gigantic trees of tropical forest are a unique offering of the trail. Later in the evening we will drive back to Diglipur. Dinner and Night stay at Resort/Hotel.
Day 9: KALIPUR BEACH
Today we will go to see the beautiful Kalipur beach. Kalipur beach which has a rocky shore and fishing villages, & the Lamiya Bay which is a shell coated beach. At the end of the beach stroll there is a fresh water stream called ‘Thambu Nali’ in the foothills of the National Park. Later in the evening we will drive back to Diglipur. Dinner and Night stay at Resort/Hotel.
Day 10: DIGLIPUR – RADHA NAGAR BEACH – SHYAM NAGAR – DIGLIPUR
After an early breakfast we will go to the Radhanagar Beach, the most beautiful beach on the Havelock Island. The water here is good for swimming and snorkelling. Do not forget to see the beautiful sunset at the beach! Next go to Shyam nagar. First we will go to hathi level to visit the Mud Volcano. From Hathi level, it’s a 3 km dirt trail through the villages which winds uphill in the last leg and enters the forest. In the evening drive back to Diglipur. Dinner and overnight at hotel/resort.
Day 11: DIGLIPUR – CHIDIYA TAPU – PORTBLAIR
Early morning after breakfast move towards Chidiya Tapu. Chidiya Tapu houses 46 varieties of birds – drongos, hanging parrots, scarlet minivets,emerald doves, long-tailed and red-breasted parakeets, white-bellied sea eagles and grey-fronted and imperial green pigeons to name a few. Accordingly, Chidiya Tapu is also known as the ‘Bird Island of Andaman and Nicobar‘. After then we will head toward Portblair. On arrival check in at hotel, Dinner and night stay.
Day 12: MAHATAMA GANDHI MARINE NATIONAL PARK
Mahatma Gandhi National Park is situated in Wandoor, 29 km from Port Blair at South West part of the island. There is a chance for ecotourism on the islands Jolly Buoy and Red Skin which are open during some seasons offering glass bottom boats scuba diving and snorkeling as a way to see the park’s coral reefs and marine life. Back to resort. Dinner and Night stay.
Day 13: PORTBLAIR – DELHI
After an early breakfast transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. Meeting and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14: DEPARTURE
Early morning, have you breakfast. Check out from the hotel and board your respective flight/train to your destinations.
