North-East India Textile Tour - 15 Nights and 16 Days
Day 1: Arriva Kolkata
Upon landing, you will be warmly received by our representatives. After a short description of the tour, we will assist you to transfer at the hotel. After checking into the hotel, relax and refresh yourself. After a while, ride to visit Victoria Memorial, Jain Temple, Indian Museum, and Howrah bridge.

Day 2: Kolkata
In the morning after Breakfast at the inn, head out to visit a couple of Bengal Villages. These villages are famous for the production of fine fabrics in its own unique weaving styles. Here you will visiting some of the acclaimed fine muslin fabric and additionally their different hand-woven examples. In the late afternoon, take a visit to Gurusaday Museum.

Day 3: Kolkata

Day 4: Fly to Dibrugarh
Today, you will be transferred at Kolkata Airport to catch flight to Dibrugarh. On landing, our escort meets you and takes you at the lodging. After checking into the hotel, take some rest and enjoy your leisurely refreshmets. After a while, we will drive you to Assamese silk weavers village where you will become more acquainted with about the muga, endi and pat silks.

Day 5: Drive to Dibang Valley
In the morning after sumptuous Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and leave for Soikhowa Ghat. From there, catch a ferry to Sadiya Ghat for your onward journey to Dibang Valley. A two hours of scenic drive from Sadiya Ghat through beautiful valleys will take you at your today’s destination. Check into the hotel upon reaching and Relax. In the evening, you may opt to meet the locals.

Day 6: Dibang Valley
In the morning after scrumptious Breakfast, drive to Mishmi towns to see textile weaving which is done by the local ladies. The Mishmi ladies make exceptionally very elaborate designs in their weaving. Additionally see the making of great basketry things of bamboo and stick by men of the locale.

Day 7: Dibang Valley

Day 9: Drive to Dimapur
After morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Dimapur. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival and spend your day leisurely in visiting the wonderful sites of Chumukedima, Zoological Park, Shiva Temple, and Kachari Ruins.

Day 10: Drive to Kohima
After morning Breakfast, check-out and start for Kohima. Check into the hotel upon reaching and take some rest. Rest of the day is free to stroll around local Naga Markets.

Day 11: Kohima
In the morning after sumptuous Breakfast, take a visit to several villages in and around Kohima to see various types of weaving traditions of Nagaland. Thereafter, drive to visit Kohima War Memorial and State Museum.

Day 12: Drive to Khonoma
In the morning after Breakfast, check-out fro the hotel and start for Angami Tribal village of Khonoma. The village is highly acclaimed for its valor and furiously free mindset. Aditionally, it is extremely notable in that it is surrounded by green rice porches.

Day 13: Proceed to Majuli Island

Day 15: Guwahati
After morning Breakfast, pay your visit at Maa Kamakhya Temple. From there on, drive to Sualkuchi weavers’ town to see the generation of indigenous fabrics, for example, Pat and Muga silk. The town has an expected 25,000 handlooms and produces almost six million meters of white and golden Assam silk yearly.
