Day 1: Arrive Delhi
After a late-evening arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel. Delhi is the capital of modern India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Explore Delhi
After morning breakfast you will be taken to visit the famous Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, India gate and Humayun’s Tomb. After sightseeing transfer to your hotel or you may opt to visit light and sound show at Red Fort. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Fly to Bagdogra and drive to Darjeeling
After morning breakfast check out from the hotel, transfer to Airport and board your flight to Bagdogra. On arrival continue by road to Darjeeling: Queens of Mountains, through a landscape of wooden hills of tea plants. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling
In the morning visit the highest spot in the area at 2590 Mts. Tiger hill is near Ghoom, about 11 km from Darjeeling. The hill is famous for its magnificent dawn view over Kanchenjunga. On a clear day, even Mount Everest is visible. Visit the observatory hill and Tibetian refugee camp. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Drive to Pemayangtse
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Pemayangtse- a small but important Buddhist pilgrim centre. For the adventure lovers, there are many hiking and trekking trails in the vicinity of this city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Drive to Gangtok
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Gangtok. It is situated in the lower Himalayas at an altitude of 5,500 ft. On arrival, check-in hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do Drul Choten, flower show, cottage industries. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Explore Gangtok
After breakfast takes a tour visiting to Rumtek Monastery. It is a famous monastery all over the world, especially amongst the Buddhist, and is situated near Gangtok. After visit drive back to hotel. The evening is free for a local city tour including markets, local food and more. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Drive to Kalimpong
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kalimpong. It has a flower market notable for its wide array of orchids; nurseries, which export Himalayan grown flower bulbs, tubers and rhizomes, contribute to the economy of Kalimpong. Afternoon visit Darpin Dara, Swiss welfare dairy. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Drive to Bagdogra and Fly to Delhi
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bagdogra airport. On arrival board your flight to Delhi. On arrival, the afternoon is free for leisure.
