A wonderful place that is a blend of sun, sand, and sea is Dui. It is located around seven hundred and eighty-six kilometers from Daman and it is bordered by Chasi River. The best part of this place is that the climate this pleasant for the entire year.

In the past Dui and Daman were under the control of the Portuguese and so to some extent, you will get the essence of Portuguese culture. This place is rich in tourist attractions which will reflect the old Gothic style.

Nagoa Beach – This is a semi-circle beach wherein the soothing waves will wade you in it and you can enjoy swimming, gamboling, and many other such activities. You can also enjoy the soft shore sand by napping below the palm trees and the soothing breeze coming along. It is just a twenty-minute drive. The open arid land as well as the dense groves of coconut attracts you to this beach.

Ghoghla Beach – This is the beach where you can enjoy water sports like water scooters, parasailing, and many more such sports. Apart from this, you can also enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and such activities.

Gangeshwar Temple – Gangeshwar Temple is situated three kilometers away from Diu and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple comprises five lingas that are situated in the midst of the rocks and are washed by the waves of the sea. It is said that these lingas were the establishments of the five Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata at the time of exile.

St Thomas Church – This church is now converted into a museum. It is a huge structure which is designed in Gothic architecture and built in the year 1598. It is the house of statues, idols, wooden carvings, shadow clocks, and many more such things.
