Taj Mahal :
The very first place to visit in Agra is the Taj Mahal. There is not much to tell about it as each and every fact about it is very famous and known to everyone. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today it is one of the seven wonders of India. It is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. The next wonderful place is the Agra Fort. This was built by the great King Akbar in the year 1565. It includes the Moti masjid, Diwan-e-khas which are halls for public and private audiences, Jahangir’s palace, Shish Mahal, and many more notable buildings. The Fort was once renovated by Shah Jahan and converted into a palace.
Fatehpur Sikri :
Fatehpur Sikri is another place that should not be missed when you go to Agra which was again built by Akbar when he had moved his capital.
