The ideal time to visit is generally from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and sunny.  Shoulder months (September/April) can also be suitable if you can tolerate slightly warmer temperatures. Avoid the monsoon season (July-August) due to potential heavy rains.

Shekhawati boasts magnificent painted havelis (mansions) like those in Mandawa, Nawalgarh, and Fatehpur. Explore forts like Dundlod Fort and Mukundgarh Fort for a glimpse into the region's history. Don't miss cultural experiences like folk performances and delicious Rajasthani cuisine.

Taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available in Shekhawati's major towns. For a more immersive experience, consider exploring by bicycle or rickshaw. Public buses connect the larger towns.
