Humayun's tomb was built in the year 1570.It looks like the Taj Mahal which is situated in Agra. One of the reasons that it looks like the Taj Mahal is that it is inspired by it. It was the first type of Mughal architecture that was made in India. The tomb was built by instructions of Humayun's widow Hamida Banu Begum.
Qutub Minar is the place which cannot be left without visited on your Delhi tour. It is the biggest brick minaret in the entire world. The architecture of this famous monument includes the mixture of Indo-Islamic structural design. It is located in south Delhi. The monument is 72.5 meters high and it also has 399 steps which will take you to the top of the Minar. The pillars of Qutub Minar are 7 meters high and they weigh more than six tons.
Delhi has also got beautiful gardens like Lodi gardens and beautiful Hindu temples like Akshardham temple, Iskcon temple and many other attractions.
