This is another wonderful treasure of the Old City. Jama Masjid Delhi (Masjid-i Jahan Numa Delhi) is one of the largest mosques in India. It is a courtyard that can accommodate an incredible 25000+ worshipers. The construction of this mosque took 12 years and was completed in the year 1656.

The steep climb to the top of its southern tower will reward you with stunning views albeit covered by a metal security grill through the rooftop of the capital territory, Delhi. Remember to dress appropriately when visiting the Jama Masjid (Masjid-i Jahan Numa), otherwise, you will not be allowed. This means covering your head, shoulders, and legs. Clothing is offered there.
